If you enjoy chocolate and mint, you’ll love this dessert!
4 cups mint chocolate chip ice cream, softened (parve or dairy)
1 chocolate graham cracker crust (8 inches)
5 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, chopped
1/3 cup chocolate-covered peppermint candies (optional)
Chocolate ice cream topping - hardshell if available
Optional: 1/4 cup creme de menthe liqueur
Spread softened ice cream into crust. Drizzle on optional liqueur. Sprinkle with cookies and candies; drizzle with ice cream topping. Freeze until firm.
Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving.
Yield: 8 servings
If serving to adults, KosherEye suggests drizzling on 2 Tablespoons of Crème de Menthe liqueur before sprinkling with cookies and candies.
