Adapted from Catoctin Creek Distillery. A popular classic of the 50’s.
3 ounces Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye
1 1/2-ounces sweet vermouth
Few drops bitters (We used Stirrings brand blood orange which is kosher)
Maraschino cherry or orange peel for garnish
Pour into a mixing glass with crushed ice; then stir, shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and a strip of orange peel.Add a comment
