Target Introduces New Line of Organic/Natural Products - Many are Kosher

Target has entered the wellness market by introducing its new grocery brand Simply Balanced. Approximately 40% of the new products are organic, and none of the items have hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, high-fructose corn syrup, synthetic colors, artificial preservatives, artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners.
The good news for kosher shoppers is that much of the line is kosher. For a list of kosher items certified by the OU, visit and enter the words Simply Balanced into the product search area.

Plans are to rollout 200 products to U.S. stores in 2013.
