MY Design Sketch Book
Written and Illustrated by Y. Nadell
Distributed by Feldheim, NY

When we heard about Adina’s Designs. a company created by Yocheved Nadell, KosherEye knew that we would have to share news of this unique idea with our readers. Nadell presents a series of 3 books titled respectively Adina, Shira and Rina with the goal of inspiring girls to explore how dressing modestly can be cool, fun, stylish, and creative.

Designers of all ages (ages 8-120 recommended) will enjoy the hands-on challenge. The books and their tutorials encourage wannabe fashionistas to explore their style vision, and to create personal, trendy and colorful illustrations using imagination to express themselves. In addition to helpful and fun tutorials, each book contains stickers. starter sketches, drawing tips, color advice and more.

The author, Yocheved Nadell was born in South Africa and raised in Southern California. She studied fashion design and illustration at Otis Parsons Art Institute in L.A. and worked in the L.A. garment industry for several years. She now lives with her husband and children in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel.

From the author: “The older girls will really get a lot out of the tutorials and learn some real drawing and illustration skills from them. We find that girls 8-13 really love the book! Girls as old as 18 who like drawing and fashion have told me how much they learned from and enjoyed the series.”
