rib eye steak

Adapted from a signature recipe served at one of America’s leading Steak Houses


One 1.5-inch thick rib eye steak
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt, fresh pepper


Season meat with salt and fresh black pepper, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and let marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Heat the grill pan to high. Add steak and turn once; remove steak when internal temperature reaches 130-degrees. Cover with foil and let rest for 4 – 5 minutes.

This also may be done in a pre-heated cast iron pan in oven.
