(For beef or veal ribs)


Approximately 20 long boned ribs
4 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 20–ounce jar barbecue sauce
1 20–ounce jar sweet and sour sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce


Rub ribs with liquid smoke and marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Grill veal or beef ribs to brown – but still rare.

Place ribs in a baking pan.  Combine sweet and sour sauce, barbecue sauce, ketchup,and Worcestershire sauce in saucepan. Simmer until heated. Pour warm sauce over ribs, reserving about 1 cup (to serve with ribs).

Bake ribs in oven, uncovered at 325 degrees until tender; approximately 1 1/2 hours. Baste as necessary

If serving later and re-warming, cover loosely and warm in oven.

Serve with reserved sauce on side. Enjoy!
