Copycat kosher crab alfredo recipe

Yes, we know! This is not a dish for everyday. It is a "once in a while" creamy, dreamy, rich irresistible treat. Serve it with a bottle of Chardonnay, or perhaps Sauvignon Blanc.

Ingredients

16 ounces linguini or fettucine pasta
3 Tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 Tablespoons flour
1-cup heavy cream
1-cup vegetable broth (like Imagine Brand no chicken broth)
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb. faux kosher crab (like DynaSea brand)
½ lemon- juiced
Optional– Parsley, Old Bay seasoning, extra Parmesan cheese, freshly ground pepper

Directions 
 
Prepare pasta in salted water and cook according to package directions. Drain and return to cooking pot. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add chopped garlic and simmer until fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in flour, cream and broth. Whisk in cheese. Add drained linguini and toss to combine. Add parsley, more Parmesan, and a shake of Old Bay seasoning if using. Simmer for one minute and stir in faux crab. Heat through until crab is warm. Enjoy!
